How are the glasses placed on the table?

We do not forget the rule of the Daltons (from the largest to the smallest)
We don't go there haphazardly and we put at least two (water and wine)
We also don't forget the lesson on stemmed glasses...

But then, how do we do it?

Opposite, we place the water glass (the largest), then going to the right we gradually reduce the size to place the red wine glass, then possibly the white wine glass.

And if you opt for water in a tumbler, then the Daltons rule applies and the stemless glass - then smaller - is stored on the right!
