For champagne, coupe or flute?
🍾 A priori neither my Captain!
The flute is too narrow and the bubbles tickle the nose, masking the aromas.
The cup is too wide and the bubbles may escape on either side of the nostrils.
But then how do we do it?
💃🏻 For once, as we want!
🥂 Meaning: If you like big bubbles, choose a flute that will preserve them
And if we prefer a less effervescent champagne, we head for the cup which is said to have been molded on the breast of Marie-Antoine (probably a delirium of the artist… thank you Pierre)
Professionals recommend a tulip-shaped glass, slightly elongated, pot-bellied and moderately tight on the rim.
