Milouin invites the new protagonist of your “Me, product” section. A playful text in which a product or a living material is told in the first person in an impertinent, funny and poetic tone. Me, product.

I am quite possibly the most beautiful insect Mother Nature could have created.

Symbol of lightness, freedom and metamorphosis, I spend my time twirling from flower to flower to forage and find a soul mate in order to perpetuate my species. My transformation cycle makes many dream of it: tiny fluffy caterpillar at first, I lock myself in a cocoon only to reappear a few weeks later, in the form of a magnificent butterfly.

And if in your eyes these arabesques on my wings give the impression of having been drawn by the divine hand, both in their beauty and in their complexity, they are much more than that: thermoregulation, reproduction, camouflage... My wings are my best allies. There are thousands of species of my congeners and my longevity can vary from a few days to several months.

And as beautiful things are rare, my life expectancy is generally rather short... Even very short. But as if to stop time, the Design & Nature house excels in the art of prolonging my existence through artistic creations featuring me, as in my past life. This company works according to the strictest rules of the art, and each magnified animal died of natural death. These artists freeze us in the most natural way to bring us back to life, this time, for eternity.

Thanks to meticulousness and perfect know-how, Design & Nature has been able to pay homage to Nature.

Thus, simple centerpieces are transformed into unique works, symbols of my rebirth. Immortalized under a bell as if in full flight, I flutter from table to table to bring grace and elegance.
